Look, don't mess with me, I am not in the mood.I was born in the village and have not got over the fact that everyone expected me to be a pony! It leaves a deep scar that I am slowly getting over. I of course have quickly become a local celebrity, villagers and visitors laugh out loud as I pester the living daylights out of the horses that have the cheek to share MY field.
As a breed of course we are the superior race being far more intelligent than horses, I try hard not to let this show. This new venture, Sicklinghall Park, opens up new possibilities for me and I am eagerly awaiting the chance to tame any human who believes I will simply follow instructions. Please give it a go!
OK so I am small but look how cute I am.
Born in the village on the 19th June 2005 I am in the process of deposing the Mule as the local celebrity. I get more strokes than him and of course when I bite it does not hurt half as much so I am more popular! I live with the herd of miniature Shetlands that include my mum, Lucy and dad Tommy. Sicklinghall Park is my home and you are welcome to come and see me and give me a stroke. My ambition is to outgrow Roxy the Labrador then she will see who is boss...
Roxy and Tiggy
Roxy is the name and I am Sicklinghall Park's big black Labrador and resident pest. You will hear my name a lot as my owner Jane is forever shouting for me for some reason or another. My bark is fearsome and loud and I will lick you to death if you step out of line. Tiggy is my new best mate.
He is tiny, even smaller than Titch and runs around forever making everyone feel welcome.
We have to behave ourselves when we are in the yard so we look forward to meeting you and if you bring any doggy friends to meet us please keep them on a leader otherwise we get the blame.
